What you will learn
In this unit you will be expanding you capabilities to spice up a site appropiately using advanced CSS techniques. I will introduce you to a few techniques and then you can explore additional ones on your own.
In this series I demonstrate a site that has all the the required elements for the assignment and then I show you how to implement each one individually. Unlike previous tutorials, I don't show you how I built the example site but rather I show each item in isolation. It's up to you to implement these in your own work as appropiate.
In part 1, I provide an overview of a sample assignment which demonstrates all the required criteria.
In part 2, I demonstrate Google fonts and show an example of them in use.
In part 3, I add text and drop shadows and using a drop shadow as a background
In part 4, I show how to round all corners, using different values for a tab look and rounding a single corner.
In part 5, I implment CSS graidents (it's so cool).
In part 6, I use repeating texture and using opacity on background-colors and images.
In part 7, I demonstrate the cutting edge transitions for color, scale, and background.
In part 8, I create a cloud background for the desktop enhancement.
In part 9 I build a moving background using multiple stacked images.
